An article about our own Member at Large: Ingrid Birker

The Montreal Gazette posted an article about Redpath Museum Club’s Member at Large Ingrid Birker! She is the Science Outreach Coordinator of the museum and she runs the Stone and Beer Bike Tour (among many other awesome things!). The tour involves looking at the fossils and stones used in important Montreal buildings (from the Faculty Club on campus to the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts), while pointing out Leonard Cohen’s childhood home in Westmount and eventually stopping at McAuslen Brewery for a drink!

The bike tours are over until the Spring, keep your eyes out for them when they start back up! In the meantime, there will be a walking tour this Sunday at 11:00am (which unfortunately is the same time as our training session!), but you can find out more information about upcoming events here:
